WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECKS (WWCC)

As per new legislation under the Working with Children (Criminal Record Checking) Act 2004, all volunteers working with children up to the age of 17 years (in 2013) are required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC).  The only exemption to this is if the volunteer is a parent/carer/guardian of a child that normally participates in the sport or group.  WWCC application forms are available from the post office, are to be endorsed/signed by KNA executive committee members and are lodged at the post office with a $10.00 fee.  If requested, the KNA will cover this fee. Register WWCC with Tracey Williamson
